Two short small-group workshops in Dubai. No experience needed; open to men and women aged 18–60.
Start date announced once the group is full. Dubai (venue confirmed once the group is full), around 5 PM.
Oud Workshop
8 seats only- The essential maqamat of Arabic music, played on the oud.
- Holding the risha (plectrum) correctly, and right- and left-hand control.
- Playing the most famous songs in each maqam.
Arabic Singing Workshop
8 seats only- The essential maqamat of Arabic music, sung.
- Core vocal exercises, breathing rules, and where the voice comes from (vocal placement).
- Singing the most famous songs in each maqam.
A seat is confirmed only after the bank transfer arrives. No verbal reservations; seats go in order of transfers received.
Each workshop is AED 1,500: 8 days × 40 minutes. The oud workshop requires your own oud.
