Learn Oud: From Risha to Maqam

An oud book for beginner students · Wael Salah

A step-by-step oud book for beginner students: from holding the risha and your first notes to playing the core Arabic maqamat.

• Holding the oud and the risha correctly
• Your first notes and exercises, step by step
• Playing the core Arabic maqamat

I wrote it for students starting the oud from zero, in the same order I teach in my lessons.
